Manu Hartmann is not only a power woman and a great singer, but also a musician who breaks with traditional blues and enriches it with fresh facets. She unreservedly and uninhibitedly spices up her music with jazz, soul, funk and even psychedelic elements to create her very own Manu Hartmann sound. The versatile Basel native with the emotionally charged, versatile voice brings a breath of fresh air and a lot of colour to the otherwise rather conservative blues scene.
The list of her nominations and awards is correspondingly long. Among other things, Manu Hartmann won the Swiss Blues Challenge 2018 and has also been at the forefront of various international competitions.
